I just wanted to share with you the interview I had with Bari J at market. I talked about the book and the new designs for market. This was graciously posted on YouTube by Boutique Cafe. They are the best with pod casts and other live videos with many designers, so be sure to check out their site.
Hope you enjoy it and have a great weekend. I will be back soon with more posts...I am thinking about a fun summer design tutorial for you all....so hopefully my brain will have it all figured out soon.
You don't know how happy I am to find you! I am just in my early '40s and have been wearing black and gray edgy styles for most of my adult life! Time for a change. Problem? I literally hate the fashions available today. Seeing as thought I am totally enthralled with the 30's and 40's, I really wanted to develop a new style with a heavy vintage twist. Along comes your book! Perfect timing, too, as I just got a Uniquely You dress form for Mother's Day!
My book just came today - couldn't wait to tear through the designs! I will be sewing a whole new wardrobe...piece by piece...and ditching all my old so-called favorites that haven't been in style since the 90's Goth period! I completely love your style and will be adopting it!
Finally, a designer that I truly appreciate and would wear anything by! You have a fan for life with these vintage designs...keep them coming...PLEASE!
One thing, though...really sad that the tank top pattern is not available in the book or your store. Any chance it will be available soon? Perfect for summer with that gorgeous vintage feel.
I am also very sad that I missed that giveaway chance...I will be visiting your blog frequently and am adding you to my blogroll!
I just pleasantly accidentally discovered you and am ever so thrilled! LoVe ♥♥♥ your work! I am just getting back to sewing after a L O N G break and was googling coats invisible zipper foot and there you were! Oh Happy Dance ♫♪♫ **blows kisses** Deb
