Not sure how hard it would be to alter the pattern to fit your size. I would think that it would be fairly straightforward since there are not many pieces to adjust. I highly recommend purchasing a reference book called Fit for Real People. It takes you through the process of altering any tissue pattern to fit. It is a paperback book that is available through Amazon. Hope this is helpful!

I hate to say this out loud, but I wear a 3X and was wondering how difficult it would be to alter the pattern for my size. I consider myself not a beginner but not intermediate either. I'd love to wear dresses and skirts all summer! It is difficult to find dresses that are modest and that are long enough. Thanks!

The red dress is Kaffe Fasset fabric for Westminster and the third dress is Queen Street by Jennifer Paganelli for Free Spirit. You can find the red fabric at www.quilthome.com. As for Queen Street, you will need to do some Google searching to find the pieces. Hope that helps!

The back neckline of this dress is curved and high, so it sits on the body like a regular rounded neckline would. It does NOT cross in the back like the front, so I think you wouldn't have to do anything!
