This dress is gorgeous and it looks very flattering! I've been doing a lot of children's sewing and have been afraid to dive into a dress for myself, but I have have to give this one a try.

Also, thank you thank you thank you for your size chart! I love that your waist:hip ratio is much more reasonable than most patterns that I see which require so much alteration for me.

I appreciate your work for making patterns for real women rather than models. You look beautiful in the dress! I hope that I will, too!

I got my patterns! Love them. Can't wait to make them up (though they will have to wait a week or so until I finish the granddaughters costumes.) I will be doing the Savannah jacket very soon in pink wool flannel. I am not sure on the Madeline yet. I have some shamrock type prints I am considering doing up for a March dress for the daughter.

I made myself a maxi dress in knit this summer and my husband HATED it. Said it looked too much like a moo-moo and was too loose. The Madeline is much better. Can't wait to make one!

It's beautiful!!!! I bought some fabrics over the summer to try to make some items from Sew Serendipity, but I'm to chicken to cut into the fabric :) I'm trying to get over my fear!! I'm going to have to if I want to make myself a Madeline dress!!
