Here are a couple of photos of the design I came up with. It is a large floor pillow, perfect for flopping around and doing something divinely leisurely. It showcases Paula Prass's new fabric line from Michael Miller called Flights of Fancy. I used the summer colorway, since the mag wanted vibrant colors. I really love the way the stripe sets off the whole design.

The pillow project will be in an upcoming issue, so I will be sure to let you know which one, once I find out more info.
Guess that is about it for now....got to get busy on those book designs!

Hey Kay!
I have a skirt going in Stitch this May! Will we be in there together?
I love the pillow!

Hey Chelsea!
Yes, we will be in the May issue together....I just found out....is your skirt for big or little gals? It will be fun to be in the same issue together!
A new sewing magazine you say?? Oh goodie!! Your pillows are lovely (I'm a sucker for scallops)! Congratulations on the magazine gig!
Cute pillows, Kay! Congrats on the Stitch deal! I have been a fan of that mag for some time. And a fan of yours, even longer!

I love your patterns and fabric choices.
You suggest Michael Miller fabric for the cushion, but according to fabric.com it is only washable in cold water. Does that mean this fabric not suitable for things that are washed often, eg clothes, the cushions of an untidy household?
Or is "cold wash" normal for American fabrics?
